We were delighted to welcome Natasha Irons MP for Croydon East to Selsdon Primary School.
During her visit, Natasha was given a tour of our lovely school and saw the amazing work our children were doing. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the learning, creativity and enthusiasm pupils bring to school every day.
Natasha also saw the breadth of what makes Selsdon Primary special: our ambitious, knowledge-rich curriculum; our strong focus on reading, phonics and mathematics; and the warm relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
It is especially valuable to have Natasha visit Selsdon Primary and other schools across her constituency. Meeting pupils and staff and seeing schools in action helps her understand the opportunities, achievements and challenges within local education. We appreciate her taking the time to listen to our community and learn more about the work taking place in Croydon.
Thank you to Natasha for your visit to see our school in action. We were proud to share the brilliant work of our pupils and staff, and the caring, aspirational community we continue to build together.
