Dream It, Draw It, Ride It! – Bike Design Competition

Calling all budding artists and future bike designers!

As part of Cycle to School Week 2026, we are excited to share the Ridgeback Kids ‘Dream It, Draw It, Ride It!’ competition with our Selsdon Primary School families!

Children have the exciting opportunity to design their very own dream bicycle using bright colours, exciting patterns and imaginative designs!

What’s the prize?

One lucky winner will have their design chosen to inspire a one-of-a-kind custom Ridgeback bike!

How to enter:

All children will be given a competition sheet by their class teacher at the end of the school day today (Friday 9th October).

  1. Encourage your child to design and colour their dream bicycle using the competition sheet provided.
  2. Take a clear photograph or scan of the completed design, ensuring your child’s name and age are visible.
  3. Email your entry to hello@bikeabilitytrust.org with the subject line: Dream it. Draw it. Ride it. Competition Entry.

If you are unable to email your child’s entry, please return the completed competition sheet to Miss Rowntree by Thursday 15th October 2026. This will allow enough time for entries to be submitted on your behalf.

Competition Deadline: Friday 16th October 2026 at 11:59pm.

School Pledge

Selsdon Primary School has already made a Cycle to School Week pledge on behalf of our pupils, so parents and carers do not need to make a separate pledge to enter the competition.

We would love to see as many of our children taking part as possible! This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage creativity, celebrate cycling and promote healthy, active journeys to school.
