Dear Families,
The weather is forecasted to remain warm until the end of term. To ensure that children are in a comfortable learning environment, we have decided that ties will be optional from now until the end of the summer term. Children are not required to bring or to wear their ties in school however, they may do so if they wish.
We have also decided that children may want to use their PE kit instead of the normal uniform on non PE days. A hat/cap would also be useful as children will have their break on the field.
All other aspects of our uniform policy remain unchanged, and we expect children in school to arrive with all the other items, including water bottles. We would like to remind parents of the importance of sending a water bottle to school, as we cannot provide bottles or glasses/cups. Although we have water fountains, these are very limited.
In order to stay hydrated throughout the day, children will have designated areas where they can fill their water bottles.
Other items that are advisable are sun protection cream and hay fever medication to be administered before the start of the school day.
Please contact your child’s teacher in the first instance if you have any questions or concerns.
Best wishes,
Mr Feitor
Headteacher
