Consultation on Proposed Changes to the Behaviour Policy

Hello parents and carers,

We are currently consulting parents and carers on proposed changes to our Behaviour Policy, and we would really value your feedback before any decisions are finalised.

We are particularly seeking views on two specific sections of the policy:

Page 13 – Lateness

This section sets out our expectations around punctuality and explains how regular lateness impacts children’s learning, routines, and wellbeing.

Page 15 – Sanctions – Year 1 to Year 6

This section outlines the range of sanctions that may be used when behaviour expectations are not met, ensuring these are proportionate, consistent, and clearly understood by pupils, staff, and families. I have highlighted the sections for your reference and the document can be downloaded here.

These areas have been reviewed carefully by members of staff and governors, and we are keen to hear whether you agree or disagree with the proposed changes, as well as any comments or suggestions you may have.

The consultation will be open until Thursday 20 February 2026.
After this date, all responses will be reviewed and considered by the school’s senior leadership team and governors before any final decisions are made.
