Keeping Everyone Safe!

Morning Everyone,

As you will no doubt have heard, cases of COVID-19 are on the rise again! We have had a number of cases amongst the staff and pupils over the past week and would like to make sure that we keep everyone in our school community as safe as possible.

The government has produced guidance on the symptoms of respiratory infections, including COVID-19. It is important to be aware of symptoms, so that everyone can take action to reduce the risk of spreading these infections to other people.

The symptoms of COVID-19 and other respiratory infections are very similar. It is not possible to tell if you have COVID-19, flu or another respiratory infection based on symptoms alone.

Symptoms of COVID-19, flu and common respiratory infections include:

If your child has symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as COVID-19, and they do not feel well, please keep them at home and avoid contact with other people until they are better.

They should get plenty of rest and drink water to keep hydrated.

If you are concerned about your child’s symptoms, or they are worsening, seek medical advice by contacting NHS 111. In an emergency dial 999.
