Hello Everyone,
As I am sure you are all aware, Monday 19th July marks the end of national COVID-19 restrictions, in line with the government’s roadmap.
We have been asked by Croydon to maintain our current COVID-19 plans until the end of this term. This is to maintain consistency in rapidly responding to COVID-19 cases in our schools. We will keep all of our current infection prevention and control measures in place, such as, face coverings, hand and respiratory hygiene, staggered start and end times, as well as class bubbles. This will support a smooth transition up to the school summer break.
On the professional advice from Croydon’s Director of Public Health and the Director of Education we will continue to manage contact tracing of confirmed cases using the processes that are currently in place. We will continue to report cases and close contacts to our local public health team and continue identifying and notifying school close contacts.
We are planning for our schools to return to normal operation next term. We are very much looking forward to this!
This has been an incredibly difficult time for many of our families and want to thank you all for your support to keep our school and wider community safe.
With best wishes,
Susan Papas
