Information for families

Dear Families,

We hope you are all doing okay and looking forward to the upcoming break.  We really hope that you are able to enjoy some time together, we are sure our whole community deserves it.  To help with the transition out of this academic year and into one we hope will provide more settled times for us all, we thought it would help for you to know the support the children will receive.

Today, Friday 16th July (between 15:30 and 16:00) you will receive a text notifying you who your child’s class teacher will be.  They will not be told before you.

On Monday 19th July, pupils will get to have a short introductory session with their teacher for September.  We are currently in the process of ensuring that as many of the teachers starting with us in. September can either be available for this or can work with us to provide something alternative – such as a video recording introducing themselves to their new class.

Previously, we have been able to offer you the opportunity to meet the new teacher briefly at the end of the summer term.  Whilst we cannot do this, the new teachers will be posting a short video introduction to the year group blog and you will be able to ask any questions by commenting on this post.

We would like to again, take this opportunity to thank you so much for all your support whilst we have navigated our way through these difficult times.  We really do appreciate the support and care you have shown the whole school community in helping to keep everyone safe.

Best wishes

Susan, Jo, Shelley, Attie, Hugo and Marlon
