Remote Learning

Hello Everyone,

As you know, our schools, along with all primary schools in London, will be closed to all pupils other than vulnerable pupils and key workers. We have been told that schools will remain closed until 18th January 2021.

During the period we will be switching to remote learning for all pupils. We have written a new Remote Learning Policy to help explain our approach to this.

We have also updated our Covid Safety Plan to show how we are responding to the new challenge of the coronavirus variant B117.

Each year group will update their year group blog with information about how specifically they are delivering remote learning over the next two weeks. We have learned lessons from the remote learning we provided during the last lockdown and have taken on board your feedback. We are using the blogs less and setting up a clear structure for the children every day. Each class will have a set timetable and lessons will be taught by the teachers, using Zoom over the day. Children will also be set work assignments using the SeeSaw app.

Your class teachers will be in contact with more detail about this and with details on how to set up the SeeSaw app for you and your child(ren). If you would like to find out more about SeeSaw, here is some information.

Children of key workers and vulnerable children who have received a written offer of a place at school for the next two weeks, will be supported to access the remote learning for their year group.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

With best wishes,

Susan Papas
