Hello Everyone,
I want to thank each and every one of you for your support through this most challenging of terms. Everyone has really risen to the challenge, staff, parents and children. I want to particularly mention the staff, who have worked tirelessly to ensure that the children settled quickly back into school and have made the schools the calm and happy places I can see today. I would also like to thank all of the parents and carers who have supported us with our new arrangements and safety measures which has meant that we have been able to keep everyone as safe as as we possibly can. As a result, we have had a relatively small amount of positive Covid cases reported in our schools. Thank you for helping us to achieve this.
The Government has asked Headteachers to continue to support the Track and Trace team over the holiday period so that we are able to notify anyone who has had close contact in school with anyone who has tested positive. I will post separate information about this.
It has been very strange not to have parents and visitors in and around the school buildings. We cannot wait until this crisis is over and we can welcome you back into school to see everything that has been going on. In the meantime, please keep looking at the blogs, we will ask the teachers to update them with the work that the children have done this week.
I wish you all a happy and healthy holidays and look forward to seeing you on 5th January 2021.
With best wishes,
Susan
