Updated Behaviour Policy

We have added to our Behaviour Policy, to ensure that everyone knows and understands the ways in which we must change our behaviour to keep everyone safe from the risk of infection from COVID-19.

We know that following rules is a skill that we must teach the children, and that we need to revisit this frequently. To reduce the risk of spreading the virus and keep children and staff safe we are introducing an additional rule

We always keep everyone safe’.

Next week we are going to focus on teaching this new rule to the children so that they know exactly what it means in the context of our school in the middle of a pandemic. It would be great if you could help us, by going through the new expectations with your children at home.

Here is a copy of the addendum to the Behaviour Policy:

If you have any questions about this policy or anything else related to your children coming back to school, please contact your class teacher who will be happy to help.

The leadership team will be on duty at the school gates next week if you would like to speak to any of us about your worries or concerns.

Take care,

Susan
