At the end of this half-term, we hope you have all had time to think about caring from our environment.

Consider Lewis Gordon’s words. How can you make sure that our environment stays sustainable when you grow up?

To make sure that our environment stays sustainable when I grow up I have to do even more than we are already doing. I hope that in near future we won’t be using this much packaging for every item. Everything should be recyclable. I hope that we plant more and less take away from the Mother Nature. Electric cars should be only on the roads. I rather walk or cycle to school, university or job, unless it’s very far away from where I live. I would expect recycling bins in the towns and cities. I would like that every country would introduce beach cleaning competitions and it would become a big event every few months like tradition. No hunting should be a strict law. Less building houses where the nature might suffer or wild animals would be forced to leave their homes.
Less people on the streets and more working from home. Less buying from supermarkets and trying to grow your own vegetables or buying from local farmers.

  2. What a lovely response, Saba.

You have some great ideas here about how you and the community can help the environment. Thank you for sharing.

    Attie.
