Attendance last week

Good attendance, that is, above 96% for the whole school year, is considered to be one of the main factors in a child’s success in education.

Therefore, we encourage good attendance throughout a child’s time with us at Selsdon Primary and Nursery School. We do understand that occasionally children become unwell and need to recover at home, and always ask that you call the school office and leave a message in the morning if your child is going to be absent.

Last week, we had excellent attendance from nearly all classes. Well done especially to:

1st – Reception Bumblebee Class – 100%;

2nd – Year 1 Badger Class – 99.5%;

3rd – Year 6 Eagle Class – 99.3%.

Two classes had excellent punctuality with no late children all week – well done to Year 1 Squirrel Class and Year 4 Seal Class.
