O2 and the NSPCC have joined forces on a mission to help all children and their families in the UK stay safe online. Together, they’re offering useful tools, support and guidance to help parents and carers have conversations with their children about their online lives.
They are running an hour long workshop in the school hall on Monday 26th June, at 2pm which will focus on how parents and carers can keep their children safe online.
A letter is going home with the children today, which has a reply slip – please could you return this by the end of the week so that we know how many parents and carers we can expect.
Until then, if you need any support or guidance, check out their website pages and step-by step guides online, call the O2 and NSPCC Online Safety Helpline on 0808 800 5002, or pop into your local O2 store for help from a Guru.
Re the workshop below. I did not receive a letter about this and just found this in my spam folder, dont know why as have always received all other mails from the school. Is it just for parents to attend or will children be accompanying their parents for the workshop?

Good morning, I am sorry that you did not get a letter about this as they were sent out to the whole school a couple of weeks ago. This meeting is just for parents and starts at 2pm this afternoon in the school hall. I hope that you are able to make it. Best wishes.
