It hasn’t all been SATs-mania here at Selsdon Primary, because the last couple of weeks have been sporty ones! With children from all across KS2 competing in different sports, we wanted to give you all the run down.
First off, the Year 5 and 6s took a trip to The Archbishop Lanfranc Academy for the 3v3 Basketball Competition. We played a lot of great teams, but we managed to clinch a space in the coveted finals (taking place next week). This is a massive achievement, and we’re all very very proud of all our fantastic players! Check out the pictures below.
Then it was the year 3 and 4s’ turn to get sporty. A select team of year 3 and 4 children went to try out some mini tennis at Royal Russell last Friday. This was gruelling on such a hot day, but our kids powered through and played phenomenally. Our team narrowly missed out on a spot in the finals, but it was so close that we can only say a massive well done to our tennis squad!
