Young Voices at the O2

Last night 7805 children sang in the Young Voices choir at the O2 Arena, which included 26 children from Selsdon senior choir.  As well as singing a variety of well known and original songs, they also sang backing vocals for Katie Melua, Lamar and Ben Haenow!

The children performed fantastically and behaved beautifully – a real credit to Selsdon Primary.  I know that many parents were able to come up and watch and had a great evening.  A big thank you to Mrs Burcombe for organising and rehearsing the many songs with the children and to Mrs Edmunds for her enthusiastic participation.

The children were: Abigail Ackah, Chernor Barry, Henry Chase, Kayleigh Chase, Melissa Gordon, Rebecca Kiyanga, Amelia Madgett, Molly Milne-Day, Emmanuella Oteng-Hene, Adjiewaa Owusu, Siya Shah, Sophie Wilson, Sofija Abramjana, Lara Alkan, Judith Ango, Mishka Benjamin, Rhianna Cork, Rileigh Hart, Sarah Hossenbux, Chloe Izard, Kuba Klimkowski, Rueben Kpeglo, Gladys Mulegwa, Martha Nankunda, Chloe Robinson-Kirkham and Charlie Turner.

  1. I know 3 people from puffins participated, and they sang beautifully along with the other brilliant performers! Well done 😊
