Once upon a time…

Jet Class 2014/15

Your task this week is to write a 100- word mini winter story!

The only rules you have are:

  1. It must include something about winter! Snow, ice-skating, Christmas, penguins, holly, robins etc.
  2. It has to be no more than 100 words
  3. It must be a proper story with a beginning, middle and an end
  4. Be original! You could be inspired by other famous stories. You could do a funny version of a fairy tale but it must be written in your own words!

  1. Early On Christmas Day Andrew, who could not wait to get up and wake up his parents, that he thought was a sleep. But his parents were already awake and in the Christmas spirit.

Suddenly, Andrew heard a knock on the door, it was all of his cousins, Aunties, uncles and the heart of the family (his grandma). They were glad to see the rest of the family bringing presents to put under the Christmas tree.

After that, Andrews cousin suggested they play a game, the first game they played was hide and seek and then they all went Home

  2. This is the story of a little fir tree who dreamt of growing up so that he could go and be a Christmas Tree amongst the Humans.

The other older trees knew more about life, and they told him that being a tree with the Humans wasn’t as good as all that. But the little fir tree didn’t want to believe the older trees, and he didn’t have long to wait.

He was so pleased when one day some children came with their parents to choose a tree to decorate their living room. The children adored him at first sight.
