  1. Hi
My daughter posted in ‘Thought For The Week’ yesterday evening and came home telling me that in assembly today the children were criticised as no one had posted anything. We made sure to make more of an effort after reading last weeks newsletter and plan to try and get in the habit of doing so as often as we can, but sometimes do not get the email until after bedtime.
    Thank you.

  2. Hello Vickie,

I am sorry about this. I did ask Mrs. Read and the teachers to remind the children to leave comments under the “Thought for the Week’ each week as we didn’t receive any comments on the post last week when the children looked at this in assembly on Friday morning. I am sure that the staff didn’t mean it to come across as a criticism, simply a reminder!

I apologise for any upset caused and thank you for encouraging your daughter to leave us comments. They are greatly appreciated.

    Best wishes

  3. Badgers have been thinking of ways to show good manners at playtime. They have made a list.
    1. Help someone if they are hurt.
    2. Keep hands and feet to yourself.
    3. Treat everyone with respect and be kind.
    4. Look after new children.
    5. Take care with equipment and toys.

  4. I am glad to read that you think good manners can make you feel better Millie. It would be great to see if you can get caught showing good manners. Listen out in an assembly coming soon about what will happen if you get caught doing the right thing.
    Mrs Read
