Christmas Jumper Day 20th December 2013

jumperThis year we are taking part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day. We will be doing this on the last day of term, Friday 20th December 2013.

We are asking all children and adults to wear a Christmas jumper to school in return for a donation of £1.00 to be donated to the Save the Children charity. You can decorate your own jumper if you want! The brighter and tackier the better!

  1. Good morning, after a discussion the other day with some mums in regard to the highlighted issues with various charities including Save the Children using money irresponsibly we wondered if the school will now be collecting charity money for another charity that will use the money in a more savoury manner? Maybe you could consider a reindeer charity to help Santa?

  2. Hello all, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have had a look at other charities and thought that the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity might be a better choice. I will alter the post on the blog. Thanks again. Susan
