Story Telling Week

Harry Potter and the Gruffalo

Next week is our Story Telling Week. During this week we suspend all other lessons (apart from Music, French and P.E.) and teach a whole week of lessons devoted to story telling and writing. The children will be involved in lots of creative and exciting activities every day and on Friday 15th November 2013 at 2.30pm they would like to invite you into school to come and hear them read you the stories they have written.

Friday 15th November will also be a fancy dress day. The theme is book and story characters. We are asking all children and staff to come to school dressed as their favourite book character.

We are asking for a minimum £1.00 donation per child, and £2.00 donation per adult. We are also going to ask every child to bring in cakes to sell on Friday afternoon. All of the money raised will be donated to BBC Children in Need.

The homework for next week will all be story related.
